Spa Wellness Weekend

This past Saturday, November 9th, marked a special milestone for Kinsale Hotel & Spa, as we hosted our first-ever Spa Wellness Weekend, an immersive two-day event designed to relax, energize, and rejuvenate our guests. With a carefully curated itinerary, guests indulged in a complete wellness experience filled with fitness classes, yoga sessions, gourmet cuisine, luxurious spa treatments, and the comfort of an overnight stay in our beautifully appointed Classic Rooms.

Day one began with an invigorating fitness class to set the tone for a weekend of relaxation and self-care. After working up a healthy appetite, guests enjoyed a nourishing lunch crafted by our chefs, incorporating fresh, seasonal ingredients. The afternoon continued with a tranquil yoga session, offering a peaceful way to release stress and embrace a sense of calm. As evening fell, guests gathered for a delightful dinner, savoring the flavors of Kinsale’s renowned culinary scene while sharing laughter and stories.

On day two, guests kicked off their morning with another energizing fitness session, followed by a wholesome lunch to refuel. The highlight of the afternoon was our signature *Sleep Tight* spa treatment—a soothing escape designed to promote restful sleep and deep relaxation, leaving everyone refreshed and renewed.

Guests left glowing, both from the pampering and from a sense of connection and rejuvenation. “The entire experience was exactly what I needed—a perfect balance of activity, relaxation, and luxury,” said one guest. “The Sleep Tight treatment was incredible; I’ve never felt so relaxed and ready to face the week ahead!”

 Kinsale Lions Club Business & Community Breakfast Briefing

The Kinsale and District Lions Club hosted a highly successful and sold-out business conference today at the Kinsale Hotel and Spa. The event attracted an array of attendees from across the business, community, agricultural, fishing, emergency services, SME sectors, alongside local groups and organisations, who gathered to hear from a prestigious lineup of guest speakers.

Dr. Clodagh Ryan from Cork University Hospital, renowned economist Jim Power, and Minister for Finance Jack Chambers TD, all delivered insightful presentations on key topics, including the current economic landscape and an in-depth analysis of the recent budget. Cormac Fitzgerald FCPA FCA, President of the Kinsale Lions Club, also addressed the conference, highlighting the importance of local businesses and community involvement.

The event was chaired by Gerry O’Dwyer, who ensured a smooth flow of discussions, while the charity fundraiser was capped off with a lively raffle conducted by Con Cadogan. In line with the Lions Club’s commitment to community service, the proceeds from the conference and the raffle will support the Children’s Cancer Unit at Cork University Hospital.

Kinsale and District Lions Club extends heartfelt thanks to all those who supported this significant event, including members of the business community, charity organisations, and public representatives. Special appreciation is given to the generous donors and participants who helped make the charity fundraiser a resounding success.

Kinsale Hotel & Spa is delighted to announce the completion of an extensive refurbishment of its bedrooms, offering guests a fresh and elevated experience on the scenic Wild Atlantic Way. 

Set across 90 acres of mature woodland with sweeping views of Oysterhaven Bay, the newly refurbished bedrooms blend coastal charm with modern comfort. The redesign introduces a soft, contemporary palette inspired by the natural surroundings, incorporating plush furnishings, rich textures, and high-quality finishes that reflect the relaxed elegance of the hotel’s unique location.
